Terms of service

Last updated August 3, 2026 · AdOppo is operated by RMET Strategies LLC ("RMET", "we").

These terms govern use of AdOppo (adoppo.co). By signing in or using the service you agree to them. If you're using AdOppo on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing for that organization too, and "you" includes it.

1. The service

AdOppo is a political advertising intelligence platform: it aggregates, derives, and presents information about political ad spending and creatives from platform transparency programs. Access is provisioned by RMET — accounts are created by invitation, and your access may be scoped to the races your team subscribes to.

2. Accounts

Keep your credentials to yourself: logins are individual, not shared. You're responsible for activity under your account; tell us promptly at the contact below if you believe it's been compromised. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or jeopardize the service.

3. The data, and its limits

AdOppo's figures come from Meta's Ad Library and Ad Library Report and Google's Political Advertising Transparency Report (used under CC BY 4.0), plus our own derivations from that data. You should understand three things about it:

It's as-reported. The platforms publish this data on their own schedules, with their own lags, and sometimes restate it. Figures on AdOppo change when theirs do.

Some of it is estimated. Where platforms disclose ranges rather than exact figures, AdOppo derives estimates using a documented, consistent methodology, and labels them as such. Estimates are ranges, not measurements.

It is not complete. Transparency programs have gaps — ads outside their scope, delayed disclosure, creative collection limits. AdOppo reflects those gaps. The service is an intelligence tool, not a system of record: verify independently before relying on any figure for legal, compliance, or financial purposes.

AdOppo is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Meta or Google.

4. What you may do with it

You may use AdOppo, including its exports (PDFs, CSVs, screenshots), for your and your clients' ordinary business purposes — analysis, planning, reporting, and presentations, with attribution to AdOppo where practical.

You may not: resell or republish the service's data at scale or as a dataset; scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site; use the service to build or train a competing product; probe or circumvent access controls or team scoping; or use the service unlawfully. If you want to do something these terms don't obviously cover, ask us — the answer is often yes.

5. Intellectual property

The AdOppo software, design, derived metrics, and branding are RMET's. The underlying platform-published data belongs to its respective publishers and is subject to their terms. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your access is active; they transfer no ownership.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep AdOppo fast and current, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" — without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Upstream data programs, hosting, and email delivery are outside our control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features (or the service) with reasonable notice where practical.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RMET is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid RMET for AdOppo access in the twelve months before the claim — or US$100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits; where that's you, these apply to the fullest extent permitted.

8. Indemnity

You'll indemnify RMET against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

9. Termination

You can stop using AdOppo at any time and request account deletion (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment where applicable, or discontinuation of the service. Sections 3–8 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we'll update this page and the date above, and notify account holders by email. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance.
